I bought a chrome emblem from satan yesterday for the lancer. It's just a touch bigger than the emlem on the 95-96 fronts. I'll get it on after work today and take a pic for anyone that's interested in it.

I am pretty sure the chrome emblems off the 3g eclipses fits directly to our cars.

yep, 3g emblems fit 2g 97-99 fronts, not 95-96 as the indention for the emblem is smaller!

yeah teh 3G emblem fits but it requires drilling...i ahem, tried prying the one off my mom's 2k1 spyder and it wasnt pretty when i left her trunk lid with a hole from the emblem. so i hadda stick it back on.

I want to see pictures

I got the emblem on, it reqired some extra double sided tape to sit well, but it looks great and fits pretty good. The way I have it on there's a small gap at the top point due to the way that the 95-96 hoods curve, but you can't notice it unless you get right up on it and look. I took some pics but they were taken late in the day, I'll get some better ones tomorrow and post 'em. Oh, and the lancer emblems are only about $10, compared to the 3g at $25.

is there any difference between the lancer and 3g emblem in terms of size??

There is a slight difference, maybe 1/4" or so, the 3g is bigger.

I bought mine about 5-6 months ago and put it on my car...it's off a 2002 Eclipse. I got it from the dealer and it didn't require drilling...it had tape on the back. Very straight forward...here is a pic...it's not a very good pic of it though...I'll have more later. It's plastic and it's kinda 3-D...it sticks out a little :P

what happened to your 99 gs sport?

A turbo happened to it...I thought everyone knew?

Anyway, here it is again, I burnt the exhaust side of my pistons ( stock exhaust :P ), burnt my valves, and spun #4 bearing. I was only boosting 10psi, and did two runs...I didn't have all that $$$$ to fix it right away so I sold my turbo kit and fixed it, then sold my car and got my GSX...It was fun while it lasted. I like my GSX a LOT...if not better cause of it's AWD. But I'll never forget the reaction of people saying " YOU TURBOED A GS!!!???" :P

so which one would be the right size for my 98?
