Has anyone though/done/researched this ? I've heard that the front facia for the 97-99 will fit on a 95-96, but with a little headlight-overlap. What's that about ? What are the differences between the two headlamp assys, and will a 97-99 headlamp fit in a 95-96, with or without a little fabrication ? I'm just curious, as it seems you can't find projectors for the 95-96, and i don't feel like tearing the whole mess apart to try and clear the fog from the plastic lens.

both fascias are interchangeable - the 95 lights are wider, on the section inside of the high beam they extend inward towards the center of the car by about an inch and a half. so if you put a 95 bumper on 97 lights, you will have a gap. if you put 97 bumper on 95 lights the bumper will cover the extra portion of the 95 headlights. i bought my kit for my 95 but only a week later got my projectors (for sale soon) so i had to have the bumper remolded to fill in the gap with the new headlights.

The 97 bumber/lights are a direct bolt in with no modifications. I did it not even a year ago. The 95 lights are larger and you cant fit the 97 bumper with 95 lights without modification to the bumper. If you put 97 headlights on a 95 there will be a gap at the inner corners between the lights and the bumper.

yes you can fit the 97 bumper on the 95 lights. the bumper is urethane and will bend plenty enough to stretch it over the 95 headlight's extra portion

Excellent. I'm just trying to find a way to acomadate the big intercooler that comes with the star kit.

uh dude, no one makes clear taillight covers. that first eclipse has supra taillights. you cant just buy covers and paint supra style lenses on them. i talked to that guy once and as far as he knows he is the only eclipse with the supra rears so far. the supra taillights are probably about $600-900 for the pair plus about $1300-2000 in body work and wiring to install them on an eclipse. the second eclipse though has a rather nasty conversion he just cut the supras into the stock lights and painted the rest of the stock eclipse tails, but it would be alot cheaper that way.
