18369, How do I get condensation out of Altezzas and seal them up so it wont happen again?

The taillights I just bought have a small chip int he inside upper corner, and its letting in condensation. I want to get that water out and seal it up. So how do I get the water out and seal em up? Can I use aquarium sealent? Do I just have to let them dry up on their own in the sun or what?

GOOD LUCK!!!! I had to pry the the plastic piece partly off, dry it with a hair dryer, then sealed it with some auto sealent I bought.
They dont make them very good. Any type of sealent should work tho.

If they are made by APC you might as well return them now while you can....LOL.I had a set of the 1st altezzas and they were the worste made product I have ever bought!! Whoever designs altezzas for APC must be smoking some really good shit.

i 2nd that! too bad the altezzas dont ship with some samples tho huh?? they could make some extra cash doing that. the only one i really had a problem with was the center piece. i have the 3rd generation lights and the center piece had "sports" written inside it. that always bugged me so i decided to paint the center peice to match my car. if its the center one leaking you might wanna just do that and save your self the trouble.

Hey man, I have those altezzas for over a year and a half and have not had any condensation in the side pieces as of yet. The center piece is a different story. I just drilled a small hole in the lower corner of the center piece and let the water dry up and seep out. I then used some auto silicone to seal it back up. Can't even see he hole unless you look real hard.

I had my altezzas for 2 weeks, all i did was have problems with them, they would be all cloudy when it was cold and when i washed the car you could just watch the light fill up with water. They were the worst product i had ever bought. Best thing to do is get rid of them put the sticks back on and paint the centertaillight to match your car. Here are some before and after shots with and without the altezzas, you can see that the stocks look badass. Just my opinion.

Someone said to park your car with the sunlight shining on your tails. Let the sun dry that ish up, then seal them up good.

haha APC sucks. Anton has been through four sets of APC altezzas if I remember correctly. I think his last set didn't leak though.

Take out the altezza's and drill a little hole in the bottom near the outside part of the light and you wont ever hae that problem again yea it might fog up a little when it rains but as soon as it stops it clears right up!

couldn't you just blow them with a hair dryer thru the bulb holes and then seal them so it don't happen again?
