Hey I just bought some indiglos but the RPM tach is OFF. I didnt realize till I got home and opened it. ITS FOR AN AUTO! What can I do? I bought them off Alergen14 from the for sale fourm. Should I try to return them or put them on?

All indiglos sold for the 2GNT were made for an an automotic. The tach is always off.

The only way to correct it is to buy a set for a 2GT and use the tach, or just use the whole set.

Yup, Dino's right. All nt indiglos have the auto's 8k rpm tach. You'll have to buy a second set if you want to use the tach from a turbo eclipse which is 9k. However, most people just live with the numbers being off.

has anyone ever tried contacting all of these diff indiglo manufacturers and tried to get them to make a set for the NT 5spd? i mean it wouldnt be too much trouble to just package the tach from the 2gt... whats up with that? you think with all the bitching you see about it the industry would pick up on it?

I have had the off tach indiglows for a couple years now. It doesnt bother me. The redline is still correct but the number is wrong. It redlines at 6500 instead of the 7000.

hmmm. i have a GS-T auto. My tach hits 9k. I know for a fact the original owner didnt make any mods. whats that all about?

save up and get an autometer tach IMO.
