Did you guys use a 5mm LED and just bore the hole out a little or did you get a smaller LED to fit in there? Just to clarify, I'm talking about the a/c BUTTON.

i put a regular 5mm blue led in mine but it was the hardest one of all. what i did is i put the led in the actual button facing towards the front. then i soldered the resistor and the wire to where the connections for the old bulb went. i actually soldered onto the little green board thats in there. that got power to it and it works good now. however getting the other wire(ground i believe) through the whole switch was a bitch. ya just have to run it along the inside of the button and squeeze the button back together without crimping it. by the way i took the whole switch apart to do it.

Once you have the a/c button out, look at the sides and you'll see two little tabs. I haven't tried to put the light in the button yet. Can anyone else who's done this shed some more light?

the mod is a lot easier if you use the houseing for the OEM bulb. i did and now i have the LED in but i didn't have to glue it in. all you have to do is take the yellow bulb out (pulls out) and get a drill bit and bore the bastard out. run the wires from the LED though it BEFORE you solder the resister on. then when your done but it back in just like you took it out.

I didn't use the existing bulb socket because I may want to convert back to stock lighting in the future. I just wrapped electrical tape around the base of the LED until it was the correct thickness to hold itself in place.
