where can i get my turbo mani coated? i want it to be shiny like crome. Jet Hot told me that their shiny coating wouldn't hold up to the heat. anyone know of a cromelike coating that will(where do get it done?)thanx

i think powdercoating would work..but im not positive...search for powdercoating....

They ceramic coated my manifold + turbo housing and they turned out great.

jet hot also does it they have reasonable prices and you can get a 2000 degree coating which shouldnt come off

the jet hot 2000 is dull looking if i'm correct. i want something shiny:-)
BTW RuffCut do you have any pictures if it, also does HPC have a web site?

powdercoat will melt right off... dont try it unless wanna start a fire under the hood... hehe

it won't start a fire. it just starts to bubble and them peel off. don't ask me how i know. the guy was supposed to use hi-temp stuff but forget and used the normal stuff. i didn't even realize it until i got home and said fuck it.

can the down pipe be cromed or powder coated? what about the turbo housing?

nah dude I wouldn't touch those if I were you your going to have to put up with that rusty look. That stuff gets hot, at like redline the manifold and turbine housing are probably glowing red already. As for the downpipe you can ceramic coat that I believe because the star one is and it seems fine. But erm haha I tried to paint it with 1700 degree paint and now it chippin off. Go figure....
