Me Neither, although now that you bring it up, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Probably not necessary though.

Well I have the power hooked up to my cigar lighter and that is fused so....

Oh ok me too. So I guess a fuse is not necessary if you hook it up to a fused power source.

as far as i'm concerened, you should fuse anytime you tap off of a power source, but since guages draw so little power...
