1997 Eclipse Spyder. Convertible top leaks at the top of the "A" pillars between the weather seal joints on both sides. I made sure that the drain holes were clear all the way down through the "A" pillars. Weather stripping and seals are like new. Convertible top was also sealed on the outside with tent fabric waterproofing. I removed the inner headliner for a better look at the problem. Nothing obvious. A coworker has the same problem on his Spyder. The local dealer changed out all of his weather stripping. His car still leaks. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is the top closing fully? you may have a closure problem. check the roof suspension crap and make sure there's nothing blocking it from closing all the way

Yes the top is fully closing. I checked the adjustment and travel stop on each side using the tech manual as a guide.

its not your weather stripping or anything you can prevent. 80% of all 95-99 spyders leak. The new eclipse convertibles however, seal perfect.
