while im saving up for HID or CATZ semi-HID, what is teh best headlight bulbs out there? not just look but light output...cuz i know there are bulbs that look bright but arnt

SInce it's late and I'm up studying, I'll give you my opinion. The reason I hesitate is because everyone will give you a different brand that they like/don't like. People have good and bad experiences with each brand. I like the Hiper Industries Plasma Xenon high wattage 80 watt bulbs. I have them in my car, and I also sell them to 2gnt members for $25 shipped. The light output is mainly white, and with a hint of blue. But if you drive in rainy weather a lot, to be honest, yellow stock light is the best. White light does not light up dark wet ground very well.

I've got PIAA Platinums, they work great. They're about $20/bulb. Some people say that projectors suck, but with these bulbs I don't have a problem at all.

FYI: if you're thinking about the CATZ Zeta headlight system, I've got a brand new set that I'd sell to 'ya. Never been installed. I bought them because I figured that the projectors would need some added support, they didn't. If you're interested let me know. Thanks.
