I am having some problems here. I did the HVAC LED and it looked tight so i tried it with the ring around the cigarette lighter, it didn't work too well so i uhooked it, now my console lights don't work. The ashtray light and glove box lights work, but the HVAC, hazard, and rear defroster lights don't work, when i unhooked the bulb for the lighter it blew the lighter fuse, i replaced it and it worked fine, but the lights stil don't work, i checked evey fuse in the damn car, can anyone help me with this. im no electrical guru, but u may have a short sumwhere. check the wiring i guess, or wait til sumone who knows what they are talkin about replies.

Thanks for tryin, i checked all the wires and can't find where there would be a short. It's pretty much everything hooked up to the dimmer if that will help anyone. By the way, vegasdsmr, the car looks tight, love the red/carbon fiber look. Peace

check your fuses..

Yeah you either have a fuse out or its shorting out somewhere. try wiggling things around in there to see if you can get the lights to flicker.

OK i checked all the fuses, and wiggled the wires and nothing. I can't tell if the cluster lights work cuz i took the bulbs out when i hooked up my indiglos. Anyway here's what doesn't work maybe this will help. The HVAC light, the O/D light, the Hazard light (but the hazards work), the defroster light (but the defroster works) and the light for the shifter (i'm auto, P RND etc..). Here's what works, the dome lights, floor lights, ashtray light, and the glove box light, also the little amber light comes on when i hit the defroster and the green a/c light works. So like i said it's all the lights hooked up to the dimmer, is there a seperate fuse maybe an inline fuse for the dimmer? Thanks in advance,

sounds like you might have fried the dimmer switch. If you have a multimeter tester, test the wires at the switch, or just find a new switch at a junk yard. Or you can just bypass the switch all together to find out if it is indeed the dimmer..
