16758, shift knob

just bought a ichibahn shift knob,grip series with carbon fiber. does anyone know which insert do i use the 12 is too big, the 10 is not quite right and the 8 is to tight. do i just screw the 8 on as tight of a fit as it is? any response will be appreciated
