but If I were to take it to a bodyshop, have them install the kit, and paint it, how much am I looking at price-wise ?

650 to 900 painted and installed depending on where you go (assuming PPG paint).

PPG ? I am not familiar with that term...


And if I were to install it myself, and have them paint it, roughly how much ?

We'd probably charge 600 to paint the whole kit. PPG is the brand of paint, and the factory paint uses PPG. You should stick with high quality paint, like PPG or Dupont.

marcus, just out of curiosity, how much do you guys charge for painting stock sides? i may be gettin some in the near future.

I just bought my Showgun front bumper from a some guy who just got the full blitz kit and to have the Showgun front bumper repaired which had like 3 cracks, painted, grilling done, and installed for $190 but that is only the front bumper no sides or rear.

Well first off I live in Hampton VA which is really close to Virginia Beach. And I got it done at Gary's Customs in Newport News which is like a 5 min drive from my house.

Probably 125 to paint the stock side skirts, without installation. Installation is a pain on that if you don't have the holes already, so probably 200 painted and installed for stock urethane sides.
