16493, idea for hood (4pin)feedback pleez long

aight, so w/my hood, during install, the mounting holes (4, 2 on each side) up by the windshield weren't all that good. 3 out of the 4 lined up, and one was about 1/2way lined up. well, i used the 3 holes i could, and jammed a smaller screw into the 1/2 hole.
when screwin in the bolts (3), tehy didnt want to go all the way in, so i backed em out, and threw sum spare washers inbetween the bolthead and mounting bracket. i was able to get teh bolts snug and somewhat tight, but it felt like the holes were a lil stripped, and off.
currently, the hood sits a lil higher by the windshield than the fenders, and the front is a lil lower than the fenders in the front (by lights) nothing too noticeable, but i know.....

i am scared that the mountin bolts will get ripped out durin spririted runs/high winds during the runs.

so i figure i can use two pins up top connected to the mounting brackets, but want sum opinions on if i should even worry.
also, id like opinions on the benefits/looks of rasing the backside of the hood(closest to windshield) like a `1/2 inch to allow better airflow throughout my engine bay.

well for one i have seen one car that had the cf hood and raised the brackets near the windshield so the hood stuck up a little.. i think it looked pretty good so might as well do it. probably just use a spacer under the bracket/hinge that attaches to the body to lift it up or something.
