16399, Problems with aftermarket bulbs?

Have any of you guys had problems with those aftermarket bulbs that you use, like PIAA hyperwhite bulbs? I had some aftermarket hyperwhite bulbs in and the bulb burned out and in turn fired my connector that gives power to the bulb. Now that its fired I have to buy new headlights once a month because it burns up the new bulbs now. Satan wont just sell me that wiring harness, all I need is that harness, cut the old one and sauder (sp?), and heat shrink a new one and I am good to go. Satan will only sell me the whole headlight housing which is $350. Fuck that I can get a set of projectors for way less than that, anybody selling any? All the junk yards must know whats up they wont just give me that connector, only sell it as one peice.

hehe the same thing happened to me. Just my drivers side headlight burned up, the other 3 lights are ok. Ive been to lazy to go to the dealership. They said I have to order and pay for it and in order to do that I have to drive out there and then go back out there to pick it up. Ill just take this as a lesson learned and will never run high wattage bulbs in my Lo's again

Well the dealership won't sell them to me down here in FL. And I even tried to get a special order since I can get a discount. I am a mechanic for Dayton Andrews Dodge (Which has close ties with Mitsubishi as you all know) and I called Satan which is right down the street today telling them I need this part for a customers car and they still told me I need the whole headlight. I argured with them for about 20 minutes then I had a buddy at work call back telling him he needed the part for his own personal car and they gave him the same story, they are just being fuckin cocks.
