here's a pic of the front end... note the ion projectors, 8" foglights, new sinsei bumper. nothing was bolted in during this picture if it looks a little loose. even the foglights were not tightened in their positions.


a side pic without my door caps (yes, they will be going back on)... again, the sideskirts aren't bolted up yet, just resting.


view from the rear. those bolts weren't all the way tightened either. the green tape was on there for two reasons... to not majorly scratch the paint by pusing and pulling, to serve as a base in case i had to fill the corners with fiberglass. everything bolted up nicely, so i think i'm good.

Diamn yo, yur car looks like its gonna be tight as hell when its done. Niclipse has that same setup, white car wit sensei front and blits sides, he has stock rear tho. I want to see what those chrome projectors look like when yur done painting yur bumper, always wanted to see them on a white car, cuz im thinkin of gettin chrome too. Are you installin this all by yurself? And how does dat rearview mirror cd player thingy werk?

Wow those are some nice pics...did you get the sides from VIS? They look just like mine...is there a bit of a gap on the driver's side skirt? Also, did you have any gap in the rear between the tailights and the bumper? My stupid VIS bumper sucked, I wish I had not gotten the rear from VIS. Good luck with everything.

neither of my skirts fits well, i have a lot of playing around to do. they are both slightly too tight to fit in the correct spot.

YES!! lol. how the hell am i supposed to fix that?? i think i'm going to build up some fiberglass on the upper piece so there isn't that big ass gap.

all in all, i gotta say, VIS is much better quality that ASSylumms bumpers. the rear bumper that i now have is THICK. it's more sturdy than my stock 97-99 that i had.

as for the stereo. i took the faceplate off my pioneer deck, opened everything up, and soldered a 15 pin computer monitor cable to the points that meet when the faceplate is connected to the stereo. then i fiberglassed the faceplate to my mirror adjustor. now, i'm working on building a housing that will encase a flip down piece of lightly mirror tinted glass that will be partially transparent so that my faceplate light will shine through.

i got lots of work to do, by the way, does anyone know the easiest way to get the upper dash off? i'm seriously thinking about going the cyan route and just painting it in the car.

oh yeah, my suspension is simple... intrax 1.75 inch drop on stock struts and shocks. 18 inch konig verdicts with nitto 555's. eibach front and rear camber kits. syracuse roads are horrendous, anything lower, and i can kiss my kit goodbye.

I just used a ton of bondo to fill in that gap. Mine was really too big to try to fiberglass (especially since if you do too much, it will hit the tailights). I just applied thick slabs of bondo and kept sanding, doing it many times. Drive around with it for a while to make sure it won't crack...good luck

What explain the rear view mirror head unit thing! I don't understand it but that is original as hell therefore it is cool as hell!

hes probably putting something where the deck normally goes. like a screen? theres a guy in town that put the face of his headunit up in the headliner.

Brings me back to when my set-up first arrived, thats what everything looked like. :)

I'm really digging the black roof and hatch lid, I always liked the way talons were like that, and I think you should leave it like that! (Wish I had thought of that when I got my car repainted) Looks tite. Also, be VERY carefull with that front end. It's very low (but does hold up well to abuse). I am cutting my bumper in half and removing 1.75" from all the way around to make the bumper shorter and it will match the height of the sideskirts too.

I like that wing too, maybe you should try to get that molded into the hatch lid and remove all the lines, make it all look as one peice, that would be sick.

xEclipsE RaceRx: I havent been a fan of any of the rears for our car, however I have found a rear made from urethane that bolts onto our stock bumper, and looks nice in pics. I am considering that.

yes, i'm molding the wing to the hatch.

as for the stereo, the actual stereo part i've relocated to the glovebox, the faceplate is my mirror. i didn't have enough room in the consule for the stereo because i put a tv where the stereo used to be.

they are 8" maxtell foglights, i would recommed 7" or smaller for the sinsei kit if that's what you are using them for. i personally wanted my fogs mounted behind my bumper, not in it, so i ordered 8" and the glass is exactly the same size as the hole... very clean and sleek looking.

your m3 turn signals did u wire them up yet if so where did u wire them up to and exact color wire

yeah, they've been hooked up for over a year. just pull off the plastic skin that runs alongside the base of the drivers door jamb. look through the wire loom that runs to the tailights. what i did was get a wire tester, turn on the blinker, and test all the wires to see which one had the "blinking" signal. i'm pretty sure it was green with red stripes and something similar to that. or, what you might want to do is take a look at exactly which color runs to the blinkers on your tailights (what color) then compare that to the wires in the loom, i'm pretty sure that would match up. either way, i remember the toughest part was actually getting the wire through the door jamb, into the door. i used my antenna with the wire electrical taped to it.
