How much weight could the stock hood support before it dents. Could it support 2 people? Would a CF hood help? A few of you might know where I'm going with this ;P

Make sure you take pics and post them to the board.

My 105lb g/f can roll around fine w/o denting... I dunno about 2 biotches tho... I'll do some test runs and let you guys know how it goes. ;)

Lol, you're damn straight that's what I'm talking about ;P But I'm about 150, and she's between 105 and me, so I dunno. Sounds like I might need a CF. How much do those run now? With the paint job? I'm in SW Ohio. How about the CF with the vents?

If it was a pure carbon fiber hood, I wouldn't worry...but all the cf hoods under 600 bucks have a fiberglass underside, and is bonded with the cf layer (so it's multi-layer). I'd worry about splitting the hood on the edges and separating the two layers if the fiberglass underneath couldn't support it. Then you may end up with a hood like evan's hehe...

Hmm that's really strange that the hood they jumped on has a really smooth backing, whereas normal hoods have a frame structure like in the pic below:

If it's FULL carbon fiber, I would jump on it, but if it was cf with fiberglass underneath, I would never jump on it like that. 99% of hoods are cf on top, with fiberglass underneath...
