i know this is probly something very simple but when i was taking out the part on the console around the vents i tried to put it back in and its not going back in... what could be stopping it? whats the best way to fix it? the thing around the vents isnt completly out any advice would be appreciated...

wish i could help....

it seems that..... if you keep at it you'll figure it out! I love pulling things out and then putting them back in... it's a good way to learn more about your car.

explain what you're doing again(more specifically).

Alright here's how ya do it:

-place the vents in the duct work just as they would sit with the trim piece in place
-put the trim piece in place and tilt the top part of the vents as far back as possible, let them pivot on their pivot point I mean
-push the top part of the trim in until you hear a "click" from each side
-push the bottom part of the trim in while tilting the bottom of the vents in

Should do it, it's not that hard, just look for what's holding you up.

You forgot to tell him to reconnect the wire that leads to the little airflow knob on the roght on the vents... It clips in quite easily.
