when I pull up the handle to open my gas door and then go around to open it its not open. I need someone to stand by it and open it while I pull on the lever. Is there some way I can fix this?

i would assume there is a spring in there somewhere that has come loose or is not working properly. take a good look at it the next time you have it open and try and figure out how it is supposed to work...then see what might be causing the problem.

there is supposed to be a spring in it, mine was missing when i bought the car :(
