Well, I really wanted to do the blue hvac conversion this weekend so I walked into Radio Shack. Looked around for a bit, found a clear led and no resistors. A guy came over and asked if he could help. Short story even shorter - they don't carry resistors or blue leds. YOU HAVE to order them off their website!! What a bunch of crap!!

whaaaat?!?!? Radio Shack doesn't carry resistors??? That's BS. Go to a different Radio Shack if there's one near you.

I had the same problem.....Only they had the Blue LEDs. I asked if they had any 330 Ohm Resistors...and the guy was like "a what?, they dont even make ones that big" i just laughed and walked out of the store. Anybody know any other stores that carry the resistors? I've already done the HVAC conversion now im gonna put an LED in my Air Vents....I'll let ya know how it turns out

i have that beat! i went there yesterday, as i pulled up there was a guy standing outside of the shack talking on a cell phone, as i approahed the front door, he walked away. when i tryed to open the door it was locked and i looked up and there was a sign that said "be back in 5 min" i looked over at the guy on the phone and sure enough he was lookin back at me and wearing a shack shirt, as soon i looked over he turned around. those s, i coundt even get in the store to see that they dont have anything in stock! this escapade lasted longer than 5 because he was still out there as i was waiting at a light to get the hell out of their.

its not all that hard to just order them online :-) but radioshacks are everywhere at least where i am.. i could probably go to about 5 diff ones in a 20 mile radius..

you just hale to look your self and know your shack(Im a radioshack junkie) But out of all the radioshack around here each one only had 1 led

I was surprised when they didn't have the resistor but they had the LED's. They had them in all different colors....red,blue,green,clear,yellow. And also in all those colors, but they flash.
