I got them on my car, The only pics I have are in the dark on my HVAC conversion

i got them in silver D.. well worth 15 bucks..

Evan:

are they like metal when they come in silver? or are they just painted in those colors? what color should I go with, white or silver?

D its basicaly just a vinyl decal you put it over the existing stock black lil one. it comes off..

then u know do the soapy water deal and smooth it out and let it dry.. thats all it really is..

it looks good its a nice silver.. let me see if u can see it in my int pics ihave

well what color is ur interior.. and whats ur other color..

i mean white and that dark blue would look nice but its comon..
and ur getting rid of the white rims.. so i dont know.. they got tons of colors..

evan, what kind of silver paint did you use for your interior? did you sand it or whateva?

they come with instructions adn i told u how to put them on above

but u just take them off your car.. they look just likethem decals drbalazo showed.. and they have some adhesive on the back

u have to play with ur hvac knobs and pull them over them..its kinda tricky..
then clean them really good and put soapy water on the stock hvac ones.. then just like a decal lay the silver ones over them and move them around till perfect and squeegee them out.. and let dry

i used SEMS silver and many diff blacks. kyrlon black lacquer is my fav.. its so wet andshinny

i didnt sand the first time i did silver.. but i tried to sand the doors but its so much work one day ill do it..

but the are semi smooothh. the black is all smooth

vinyl dye. from a spray can.. dont let the pic fool u..

i didnt use the worlds best die..

imight try to get some real carpet dye and do them.. im waiting till i take the int apart again and take the blue dash out and do it silver..

im still thinking of tweeding the whole int black tweed. and then make all the black silver.

but i think it would be too much black. i might just do silver...

but ill prob go look for some real carpet dye.. mikey said his worked.. and jjphatstrat has some rit dye..

but im gettting some diamond plated floor mats soon.. so ill prob just make some custom carpet for the back and rear

someone told me if you spray paint your interior the paint will crack from the sun? is that true?

rit dye in the bottle seems to work pretty well. i used 2 bottles just for good measure. it recommends 1/2 bottle per 3 gallons of water. i just kinda eyed it...mixed it all up in a bucket. here is a good tip though: use an old sponge...a big one...and splotch it onto the carpet. i kept soaking the sponge (with the bucket in the car) then rubbing more into the carpet. for the vertical areas just wet the sponge some more and do those areas. after a while i had a small puddle in the middle that i just kept dipping the sponge in. anyway carpets turned out pretty good...hands on the other hand...
