Hey, I already have the tripple gauge pillar which has my EGT, Boost and A/F gauges in it. Anyone have suggestions for placement of the following:

S-AFC
HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer
Fuel Pressure Gauge

I like my air vents so I don't really want to put them there. I was thinking maybe the Glove box. Does the S-AFC have enough line so I could pull it out of there to tune with? Any other suggestions?

yup make a custom piece that goes where the center air vents are, you know right above the hvac controls, just remove those two vents and the 2-3 other dials there, I will post a pic if I can find it again its sweet

On top of the steering wheel column :)

Well if you're not a smoker you can probably put one in cig lighter hole, there also a gauge face that holds two extra gauges Im not sure who makes or sells it but I know HadesOmega has one on his car.

place the afc on the roof where the sunroof control is, and the turbo timer on the steering column.

3 on A-pillar
2 on instrument cluster bezel (autometer)
A/F Meter mounted with radar detector suckion cups to window
AFC with bent bracket in the vents plastic piece.

well you can do what i did(but only if you don't want to listen to music) and take out your stereo deck and put all the gauges there....I'm gonna be putting 5 different gauges in there and should be done in like a week or so

The HVAC and Radio placements are out of the question, I need those. :P

I'm thinking about fabricating a custome enclosure to replace where the sunroof controls are. Or maybe in the glovebox.

or you can do like me and mount your stereo in your glovebox, wire the faceplate to the stereo where your rearview mirror was (behind a piece of glass with mirror tint on it). BUT you have to have a remote control to your stereo because you can't touch the dials. that would give you room for 2 or 3 more gauges. jjust a suggestion. BTW there's only 12 wires from the faceplate of a pinoeer deck to the rest of the deck. it's simple to rewire.

just a question for those of you that have put gauges where the center vents are... how do you get any air?!? i can see putting a gauge in the side vents cus they suck and basically serve no point... but the center vents are all the air comes out.. and here in so cali, we need all the AC we can get.. anyone?

I plan on putting my afc under the cd player, you can get the bezel gaugepod and buy an oil pressure gauge and put the fuel pressure in there too. I have my turbo timer on top of the steering column.

they have the lil guage pods that hold the guage ..
look at cyan or lotalons int.. ithink they have them

they u can mount them on top the dash.. its hard to explain how it looks.. kinda like a spoon.. u would stick the part u hold down into the dash.. and then the part u eat out off would be the pod. and u can have a few of them..

the glove box would be good.

on EBAY they have the 3 guage holder that takes out the center vents and hazards..

i too wouldnt want to lose my HEAT or AC dont use the AC much .. im a window type of guy.. but in the winter Heat is nice.. hah

but for 50 bucks its not a bad deal guys.. check out ebay.

they even make custom holders for the door vents so u dont have to make themurself

well steve if you dont use ur side view mirrors a guy took a champeinge glass has his mold and the lil nubs that stick out to move the mirrors he placed a guage in there.. with some work and a good mold u can make it.. i think the write up is on the main 2gnt site actually..if not i can find it..

I noticed that too. The gauge was not hooked up in this picture as I was messing with fitment at the time. I have since replaced the AFC with three gauges in the same way you have yours. Actually, I have two and a hole for the third that Armond keeps bugging me I need to fill in with something. :p

where do you get air, lol, I was thinking of adding some gauges for "looks" then hook them up when I go turbo, but I didn't wanna put anything on my ac vents, must get air in sweet home alabama during the summer

This is where I plan to put my EGT Gauge when I get it. I'm gonna make a gague bezel for that little useless section. Anyone know how they make those holes for the bezels? Hehe I don't think they make drill bits that big. :P

Actually they do make drill bits that big, it's a standard drill bit ion the center and then a saw type blade around the outside. Check a local hardware store they will have em.
