I want to mount a switch in the little panels to the right and left of the steering wheel that looks like you can knock out. How do you get them out?

just pop them out with something small like tiny flat head screw driver

yah its really easy if you lay down and look at it from behind you can see that it slides out in one direction. So you can only pop it out by pryin in one direction. So get down there and look or just try to pry it from both sides. hope that helps.
