its not cheap and requires a lot of custom work with fiberglass or bondo. if done right, it can look good.

The supra tailight conversion has been done on a lot of eclipses, along with the s2000 conversion. Figure 1500 to 2000 total for the conversion labor and parts.

check out the october 01 import tuner page 26.. they say a company "Contour Metal Shaping in Warren NJ grafted in the Supra taillights.." (with a pic) It does look pretty pimp though but all that money could go for speed..... imo

I haven't seen anyone do the supra tail light conversion properly.. they move them too close to the middle and look crosseyed. 1500.00 - 2000.00 for a tail light conversion? Damn.. where do you live? it's more like 5-6 hundred here. I've got the RSX tails on my car.. need to take flics.. my car is all primered right now.. and just sitting.

someone should do a eclipse/skyline tailight conversion, although I would rather spend my money on speed.

Hey Raizin, I'm in Los Angeles. Most conversions cost around 1500 to 2000 including parts and labor, using almost all metal, not just molding fiberglass and bondo. Maybe my prices are a bit high though because we don't do conversions any more unless the customer begs and is willing to pay a lot (since it takes up too much time and isn't really profitable at all). Labor alone on a conversion is around 800 and up (figure 40 bucks an hour, and that means the conversion should only take 20 hours). But in actuality the conversion takes more than 20 hours of labor to do it perfect, which is why it isn't worth it.
