14236, glove box light Posted by Vinz, Feb-08-02 08:28 AM
Hey I tired changing the glove box light to an LED. I guess the current or the voltage is different and the LED wouldn't work on it. Do you guess have any idea what I have to do to make the LED work with the glove box light wires.
thanks

instead of using led's, you can actually just color the bulb with a blue sharpie marker. i've had mine done for like 5 months now, and its still a nice blue color. it may sound ghetto, but it looks sweet. if you decide to go that route, make sure you use a permanent marker and let it dry completely or else it will burn off.

Same here, I just bought sum small blue bulbs, and I also changed the bulbs to blue where your feet go. Looks tight at night.

just get a 194 LED.. they just pop right in like your regular bulb if you're using a regular LED right now and it isn't working make sure you used a resitor to adjsut the voltage and make sure you have the polarity correct. LED's will only work one way whereas incandescant bulbs will work either way. the longer lead wire is the positive.
