if one were to obtain a set, what would they do to the stock wireing harness so that the corner light blinks and the inner 2 break, instead of how they are now on our USspec lights where the inner 2 break and blink.

are their two wires back there, one for break and one blink, i guess there would have to be, and all you'd have to do is cut the lines are reattach them in the appropriate position to the correct bulb(s)?

nope, that would not work, cuz we have double fillment bulbs in the back, which means there r 2 bulds in one...(one brighter, and one dimmer)

the problem come in cuz when you have your parking lights on, thats one fillment, when you brake both fillments are on...and when you use your turn signal, its that same fillemnts, except blinking....

I'm having the same problems with my taillight conversion....(i wanna separate the turn from the brake)... my guess is that we need to run leads back from the turn signal flasher, and then new leads for the brake (like from the 3rd brake light), i'm looking in it, and will post when i have a solution....

talons have it easy :( bastards!!!

I can tell you how its done on the euro cars if you want to?Or you can check with a guy called Scott Coben in Georgia..he bought a set of JDM from me and rewired it to fit I think..so see if he is a member of the DSM over there and ask.....I will get the schematics herer too for you if you want to?Then you can see how its done here.

I know we have one of the inner lights as driving lights...and the other turns on when you hit the brakes. Then the amber corners are ONLY flashing as turnnsignal.

I've got it re-wired, but the nlinkers flash quickly as if there was a bad bulb. It's actually pretty simple.

Using a lighted line tester (if you don't have one you can get it at the hardware store for about 10 bucks) turn on your parking lights and test the two lines that run into the lamps the four inside bulbs. If it lights up leave it, if not this is the wire to cut. You'll need to splice the lead wire from the 3rd brake light. The fun begins now as you have to run it down through the grommit in the hatch and back to the rear of the vehicle. Cut all the brake/signal wires for the inner four lamps and use the newly run wire to give them power. Your half done now that the inner lamps will light when the brake is pushed, but not when the turn signal is tripped. For the siganls on the end you'll need to splice a line in from the front turn signals. Once again with the parking lights on test the wires. The one that lights the tester stays, and the other needs a line added. Instead of cutting you'll need to slice the rubber sheath and make a "T" fitting, leaving the original line intact. Run these back through the firewall and to the back of the car (I'm assumiong that you can navigate through/remove all the necessary trim peices). There's no need to test the wires in the back cut both leads on each lamp and solder in the new line to either diode (one is brighter than the other, that's the only difference). Make sure that left is left and right is right, and viloa! Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
