Anyone have any ideas?? I tried to do a search on this but couldnt find anything. The search tool wasnt working all that well either, it kept sending me to a blank screen. I would really like to get this crap off my car, I have tan interior and Im afraid I wil get some inside and that would be REALLY difficult to get off I think.

yeah... goo gone works. i got some on a brand new pair of abercrombie jeans like 2 years ago... still there today. IT DOESN"T come out of clothes.
i think it's the tar-like stuff that holds the plastic sheet onto the metal panel of your door.

I've been meaning to post about this for a long ass time. It's so annoying. I've been using a mixture of 50% paint thinner, and 50% water. It just easts the stuff off, and I haven't had any problems with it destroying anything yet.
NOTE: I take the pannels out of the car to clean them, paint thinner and car paint don't get along very well. heh

I used Goo Gone....took about 1.5 hours for each door though.

I took a card (like a credit card or some plastic card) and just scrapped all the excess crap off. There is still a little left on both the door and the plastic but just enough to keep them stuck together. As for the stuff that dripped out ... I used engine degreaser and some goo gone. It worked for the most part but there is still some left trapped in the textures of the plastic kick panel. And yes it doesn't come out of clothes ... or your car seat fabric for that matter.

i scrape most of it off with a razorblade, then just use wd-40, and it takes the stuff right off

take it back to the dealer, they have to clean it out. If your carpet is dirty, get some on it too and make them give u new carpet.
