1356, Where can I get "vent shades?"
Posted by 95ESi, Feb-12-01 05:28 AM
F*CK! I just noticed that someone tried to pry my passenger side door window where the side mirror DELTA is...

Now I have an unsightly stupid freaking scruffed scarred dented deep pry mark on the weather strip. ARGHHHHH! :-(

I can't stand seeing that huge scar mark...

Are there any "vent shades" for our car? Where can I get some for a good deal?

Hey i've been looking for vent shades as well. But for a different reason, i know others with this problem too, when the window is open even a crack rain and washer fluid come in the window. It aggrivates me. A lady in my town has them, i hafta ask her next time i see her. I'll keep ya posted, if you find some let me know please.
Thanks
Peace Deze

i was told by a car parts store that they dont offer them for a 2g because there is no frame around the top of the window to attach it to- i dont know if the guy was lazy and doesnt want to look it up, but the thought of that sounds decent and true.

yes there is no way to make one actually work because they slope downward,if they were mounted on the car the window would hit it when you closed the door

Ya I think that's true - we have frameless windows. Meaning most cars have a frame at the top of their window (when the door is open). But our windows have nothing. That's why you should never close the door by pushing the window because there is no upper support frame (and the lower rails in the door can get bent like they did on my car when I first got it).
