I know people would often use neon lights and have them under the dash so that they would shine at the pedals and your feet. During the HVAC light install today I thought about using some of those bright LED's in place of neon lights using the wires for the glove box light. That way the LED's would go on with the headlights and it would be a easy install. I think I'm going to try this when i have time. But did anybody else try this already? and how do you like the results?

I dont think the leds would give you the light coverage that you want, you would have to use 2 or 3 for it to light up the area. I got 2 neon tubes on ebay for 20 bux and they work great!
