your car is bad ass!! I rode in my first GSX yesterday and it was fast as hell compared to my RS and all it had was BPU's it was only pushing 15psi on its T-25 and I came out of the car with a big 'ol cheesy smile. As far as the HID's I heard that are headlights werent designed for it and the beam would be messed up. Is this true cuz I was thinking about getting projectors first and then converting them to HID's but if that isnt necessary Im going the route you went. What kit did you get by the way??

How much was yur HID kit? You install it yurself?

Yes finally!!!!!!!!! I need to know what EXACT kind of kit it is, Phillips? maybe, also what type of bulb and color, and how much? cuz I want to get it.

The one i got was the 6000K Ultinon kit($580), as oppose to the normal 4100K kit($499). These numbers are basically the color temp of the light. My kit shipped from England and arrived in 1 week, i got some free phillips H3 bulbs for the fogs too. The install is pretty simple and trouble free. I know the K2/vision ebay kits are cheaper but they do not come with relays to power up the lights. Some people had difficulty in getting enuff juice to startup the lights using the stock wiring harness to power the ballast. It is very important to have replays. Most of the cheaper kits don't come with them.

Took me 1.5 hours to install the product. Most of this time went to
deciding where to mount the ballast and route the wiring. It is a
complete plug and play system and really easy to install. The only thing i see that is a little troublesome is that you have to modify your stock round plastic covers( drill hole for wire to pass thru) if you want to keep the moisture out of the lamp housing. Other than that, it's really a breeze to install.

Yes, i'm using stock lamps, not projectors. As you can see from the pics, the result is quite good. Yes, our headlights were not designed for HIDs. In many cases, people often complain that there is SEVERE excessive glare from the retrofit and it would blind the on-coming traffic. Thankfully, this is not really the case with our headlights. Of course, when you compare the retrofit with OEM HIDs, the OEM ones will always have an aggressive cut-off to prevent glare. I would say that glare is not a problem in our case.

As for getting projectors and then retrofitting them with HIDs, i have read about the terrible quality of the APC projectors. From http://www.lighting.philips.com/ , they have said this about the APC projectors. If you want projectors, you should get some OEM ones from a wrecked BMW,audi, and then transplant them into our headlights. This is of course a big and troublesome job, but they have done it on that forum. To me, it was too much hacking of our housings and then i had to spend more money to buy them OEM projectors. After seeing the results of my retrofit, i find this quite unncessary.
