who has the b/m short shifter and where did you get it from. I know everyone will say get the hurricane short shifter but all that is is the stock one cut down. It doesn't change you shifting. It is still the same length from each gear. I want one that changes the percentage between gear shifts. I want to cut that one down so it is as short as the hurricane shifter but with reduced % on shifts. I know i'm rambling but some one has got to know what i'm trying to say. (it's the percacets the DR. gave me for my knee)lol
TIA and sorry for all the rambling

they make two kinds.. 35% shorter and 50% shorter... soo.. you might not have to even cut it.. unless all you want is a freakin knob showing.

I got mine at road race engineering... $155

I like it much more than the stock shifter. Shifts are much closer (I have it set at 35%).

If you have more questions, gimme a holla.

got me the B&M.. love the short throw, but the stick is still long.. almost as long as the stocker.. ive been considering shortening it too.. just know that if you buy this shifter (as well as most short shifters) its not a shortened stick, but actually shortened throw.. if you want a shortened stick, get the hurricane one

I would highly recommend the B&M short shifter, very high quality construction and drastically improves throw. I have it set to 50% reduction and it makes the stock shifter feel like I was rowing a boat. Check ebay and you may get lucky, thats where I got mine. As stated, its not much of an aesthetic improvment but I would rather not hack anything in case I want to sell.

hey iced

i got mine from summit and then took it to a machine shop and had like 2 inches cut off so nows its bad ass.....just make sure you dont go to low, or it will be too hard to shift...think of it like a teeder-todder where if one side was to short, it would be harder to move...get it....btw, the machining cost me like 100 bux....good luck, also put the b&m on the 50% shorter throw, much better.....joe
