I am in teh process of purchasing a 2nd gen eclipse, and was wonderign if tehre are any exterior differences between teh 95, 96 eclipses and the 97+, besisdes teh front end? And if so, what are they? THanks a lot.

Reverse lights, sideskirts, front, rear, interior (seats stitched in different colors and patterns), rims, headlights, and the turbo spoiler was introduced in 97. I think everyone pretty much had it covered, but this about sums it up.

Front end, sideskirts, rear end, reverse lights, fog lights, headlights, spoiler, wheels, interior designs. I think everything looks better on 97+, but it's just opinion.

samson, iwill be selling my 96 rs(89000 but brand new engine) with a bunch of stuff done if interested give me an email.....brand new rims, rear brake conversion, read the list below,the works, later, joe

the 97 does look better ill give u boys that.. mine was a 95 in at first..
but no longer has the smiley 95 look... though it still looks like a face.. ahaha check out the pic
