Anyone know how to turn on the reverse lights without shifting to reverse? Maybe use a switch or something?

You'll need to get a couple of double contact sockets and some double contact bulbs.. what i did is i hooked it up to the power from the rear tailights and added a switch so i can turn it on or off and when i use the reverse it'll illuminate brighter... Its really hard to explain so id rather show you in person. have we met??? did you go to the meet last saturday??? i was the one with the red Eclipse...

i wired my reverse lights to be brake lights/trn signals but i wouldnt recommend it, the reverse lights are so damn bright, i had people tell me they thought i was coming at them in the wrong lane before, if you do it use red bulbs

Please tell me why you want those to work other than when they are suppose to. I am all for modifying cars, but having the white lights in the back is very important in what it signify's. You see that on the butt of a car and you think it's coming for you. I think it's just plain silly to even want to do that... ?????

because they never worked to begin with. how many 5-speed 95/96 owners so you know whose reverse lights actually work when in reverse? i dont know any (including myself). it was an electrical wiring problem so i use them for safety purposes. i never said i left them that way, obviously i fixed them so thta they look like brake lights instead of headlights

It's like they have a mind of their own sometimes they come on and sometimes they don't. I need to wire mine. In my interior I have 4 Pep boys multicolored switches only 2 of them are connected up to anything so one will now be for the Reverse lights.
