That may be because your in Cali though, becuz here in NC, they wanted to charge me 175 for just my side windows and the hatch

i would think its easy to do, just a bunch of horizontal strips that form together over time. or you can get the heat shrink stuff

i paid 148 for all 5 here in ohio .. 20 in the back, 35 front.. but they charged the same for any tints

yea the guy that did mine said it was really hard and he had to use two pieces to do the whole thing. I can't even tell.

Ya most places use two pieces for the back window because it's so big and curved. I'm still thinking about retinting my fron two windows but I dunno if it's worth 25 bucks and the risk of another ticket.

Got mine done for about $140. I watched him do it, he used two pieces and had to use a heat gun to stretch the upper piece. He actually scratched the glass with his razor, but he wrote on my receipt that i can bring it back for the life of the car if it ever bubbled.

i live in so cali, and got all five done for 100 down here.. the back is one piece and it is guaranteed not to fade for life.. but two months ago, got hit up by the po-po.. bout to do the sides again for 40. good ish!

The only problem is the take a knife and CUT the original Tint, do this your self, and you could save a boundle...oh yea and to tint the back one the guy used a hitting gun to mold the tint, it took him like 40 mins to an hour to do this, so yes it's very hard...

Haven't got mine done yet, but i went and got an estimate on how much it was gonna be and he said $100 for all the windows including hatch. In TN

$190 for 15% all the way around(except for the windshield) worked for about a year..still looked perfect... then got hit up for 2 tickets in the same week from the same A$$hole cop ($160 more) so now i have no tint :(
