11196, Kevlar Hoods...

I'm looking into getting a Kevlar hood, because my car is about to get painted an orange shade and I wanted the carbon fiber look with orange woven into it...anyone know who makes these?? I've seen them around at the shows, and I know that a company called Nu-Dash over here in SoCal manufactures them, but I was just wondering if anyone else knew of another maker? Thanks guys...

We might start making kevlar hoods in a month or two. First, we're making carbon fiber. They want to use my stock hood as the mold and make me a blue kevlar one, but I don't think I wanna give up my stock hood. They retail for 650 to 700 I think for kevlar.

LoL
Whats his name was gonna give it up. Does kevlar have any advantage over CF, besides stoping bullets.

Kevlar comes in different colors, and I guess the pattern is slightly different from carbon fiber. It's also more $$$ though

LoL...I'll uhhh...let u know about the helmet...hahaha. Damn 6 to 7 bills??? I can get a CF one for about 285 on a hookup. Hmmm it's not worth it then. I'll just wait and see if another sponsor picks me up. I'll pay up to 4 bills for a hood but if it's gonna be that much, I'll settle for the good ol' gray and black cf.

im going to get a kevlar hood soon from my friend, i have seen how nice and strong his hood is and for sure i will get it. its much better then the fiberimages kevlar hood and looks a bit better.. its not cheap about $800 retail is about $1200... it takes about 2 months to get since its made to order and depends on the weather dont ask me why... i also wanted just a cf hood cheap but i rather put something stronger and lighter and also looks nice. for example my friend whos 6 foot around 280-300 pounds about was jumping on his kevlar cf hood for a long time and i thought he was going to break it, the reason he jumped on it is because i said thats a nice cf hood and he said, and he got all piss off. hehe
honestly this is a bad ass hood...
