Take on of your 3 tail light bulbs out on each side. Believe me :)

ok I got this from a post that was like REALLY old, like the old old board:
These are the six bulbs on the back of your car..
0 0 X ECLIPSE X 0 0
Cut the black wires on the bulbs with the "X".
This will cause your your turn signals to blink fast when the headlights are off and they will alternate when the headlights are on.
This probably should have been posted in the interior/exterior forum also, beats me ^_^

I dont want them to alternate when the lights are on, that would suck. Cant they just be fast all the time?

If you take out a bulb it would make them go fast. Not alternate. Just go fast. Im 99% positive

yeah, but then you would be missing a bulb. They make a kit that allows you to wire something in to make them flash faster. Check ebay motors accessories. And search hyper flashers.

Yeah. I tried it for my Talon but it was dumb. I had no rear signal lights because I cut the signal light wire, being told it would work (cutting the black one). I also ran around at AutoParts Source and spent $20 dollars on different flashers that "were" supposed to make them blink faster but didn't.
I think the only option is to buy those hyper flashers in order to keep all your bulbs on.

fast blinkers are really annoying. my left tail blinker is out and its really starting to get on my nerves. gotta get around to that

but 6 LED 1157 Bulbs, and replace your stock bulbs with them. They draw less current, so the computer thinks something is wrong. With the computer 'thinking' something is wrong, the blinkers flash faster....but you wont be able to use cruise control with them on.
I have them simply because I must -- I have clear taillights.

ok well.. dont cut no grounds (black wires) i bought some bulbs off ebay with built in relays.. u put them 0 0 x eclise x 0 0
and now my front blinks really fast
my back is fast.. when the lights go on they altenate. back and forth when i signal which i think is cool
if i hit the hazards it goes x 0 eclipsse 0 x too o x eclipse x o and so on..
if i hit the brakes only the outside bulb lights up... they do something funky i forgot what..
but 20 bucks they cost and got her in 3 days..

TRY to put the LOWER WATT (if you can find it) on both turn signal bulbs on the front, it might works. I did it in my hometown by mistake and it made turn signal blinking faster. (Just my opinion.)

I have LED bulbs in back and it blinks faster. Everyone asks why they blink faster. Now I know. I had clear tails, but the hassle of being pulled for them every 2 days got old. I got altezzas, and now I did my own thing with the covers and a painted center piece.

i know how to make a set of hyper bulbs but the only thing is that they only blink fast when the lights are on. but all and all they are pretty cool.

Just install 1157 bulbs in back instead of the stock 2057's. They don't have to be led's.

>Just install 1157 bulbs in back instead of the stock 2057's. >They don't have to be led's. man i use 1157 bulbs in my car and they don't do blink fast at all. the reason that you get fast blinkers with bulbs is because if you buy a set with only one filament then it will only light that filament. that is also a reason why some bulbs that are blown blink fast cause one of the filaments in the bulb is blown. is common mechancis/electronics/knowledge/whatever you wanna call it
