Has anyone put the Streamline sideskirts on their Eclipse? I was browsing the web and found them on Aerotrends. I`m thinking about picking them up and using it on my RS with the 2gb front and rear bumpers. Opinions will be very appreciated. I want my car to be clean and non-ricey, but be a little different.

Not bad at all, just did an image search on yahoo.com. Looks close to stock 2gb skirts, abit.

Do you think the sideskirts will go with the 2gb bumpers? I like the skirts because they`re designed to work without the door caps. And since I got an RS, that ends up being perfect for me. lol.

My opinion is: no. Side skirts do nothing but add weight. No aerodynamic advantage. And less money in your wallet that can be used for performance mods.

I'm not knocking on them aesthetically. But the RS is already beautiful.

Unless you are putting on 95 Talon swirley skirts ;)

Sideskirts done weigh much and really improve the look of the car IMO.

Those streamlines are ok, but personally I like the look of the stock 2GB sideskirts better. The Talon swirlys are also pretty sweet too.

I understand that side skirts have very little aerodynamic function on street cars that don`t see high speeds. Their sole purpose, racing wise, is to keep as much air from coming under your car and causing unwanted lift. Besides that, I just think on our cars they add a bit of balance to the flow of the bodylines. Plus, I`ve been toying with the idea of actually having my car do a bit of weekend racing at some road courses eventually.
