104346, CF hood

I recently got a used Siebon cf hood that has some pressure surface cracks on it. Sorry I don't have a pic to post. It looks like a pressure ding on a surfboard if that helps.

Anyway I was wondering if I needed to do any repair? The hood is not mis-shapen in any way and I'm going to primer and paint.

All comments or questions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My CF hood is about 6 years old and is covered in those little spider marks and has some sun spots too. Nothing to worry about. Purely aesthetic.

Thanks Ebster. I guess the primer and paint will hide all that then.

Get it sanded and re-cleared. I have cracks on mine from the hear from my turbo and the only thing i hear is that to re-clear and sand it can help it but not totally remove it.

Thanks! I am going to spot sand and clear it before I primer and paint it.
