104336, To Shave or Not to Shave Posted by whtclipse98, Jan-22-10 09:18 PM
After doing some thinking and having a spare hatch, I was debating on whether or not to install a carbon fiber turbo spoiler and paint the top portion of it leaving the underside carbon fiber or to just fill in the holes and shave the spoiler off. Course we know there is a really sexy black eclipse on here with a shaved spoiler and I think that since I am planning on buying a flush mounted antennae, and when I say flush I mean completely flush when it is down, it would go really well.
I could go into a full detail of what my plans are but since there is a thread in the pits for that I will do that there.
So what do you think? I'll more than likely be sporting a set of black Tenzo DC-6 rims with a red pin stripe in either 17" or 18".

Would the wing be the only cf on your car?

No, adding a hood later on along with a heat shield to go around the area where the exhaust comes out the bumper. I was going to see about that rear lip but too many people are having problems with it. I considered a carbon fiber front bumper and I will do some photo shop work to show what I was thinking of doing with it.

I would prefer graphite or grey looking rims with a cf hood and with a cf wing. I'd get the wing. Like you said ps it first to see what you'd like more. Cf is always baller status lol.
