So that little cubby in the trunk has a plastic door you can put on it? That's so cool, after all this time I never knew we had something like that.

I have yet to see anyone else with that cubby door. I got it off a parts car and installed it I also have a cargo net which i never use. I also have no plans to sell my car anytime soon. I'm in central ohio I would probaly use craigslist for columbus area. As much as i would love a parts car I'm trying to save up to turbo my car.

I picked it up from a parts car because I never seen it in any others and it kept some items from roling around in my hatch. Since I installed it it has become a conversation starter.

I still have my cubby door, I use it all the time. I keep a spot light in there,(one that hooks up to my cig lighter).
Nice car, never been a fan of red, but I might have to change my opinion. lol.

Maybe the PO put something a little too heavy in there? :shrug
If I put more than a quart of oil and spare belts in mine it pops out and things go flying. I'm working on a sub box like Tim did in that spot so keeping it isn't worth it to me.

I actually have the same rims, lol. I wish I would have gone with different ones in the first place since I'm trying to save enough money to buy new ones.
I wasn't aware that our cars came with the cubby hole either. Would be a good place to put a chiltons.

That's great not many people have heard of these rims. I have always liked these rims, first ones I have ever bought. The cubby stores my chilton and car detaling stuff when I take it.

You could also use the chubby for a battery relocation spot, like this guy. http://www.mitsu-media.com/showpost.php?p=147869&postcount=9
When I saw this build update at mitsu-media, thought I'll share it with you guys.
If want to see his full build click the thread atop in the link. He fab'd bracket for the battery also.

I don't like it. I'd rather have it hiding under the carpet in the spare tire well.

As far as I can tell from all the cars i have parted out....Only the 95 cars had the cubby door. The plastic in the car is the same but the slots are not there for the door. Easy to add
