Per your requests (and most of all Tim's hahaha)

LED tails:
(pre-installation)

(before adding cover lens)

wilwoods and superleggeras

interior (yes, the headliner you all made fun of is gone :P )

tried to keep all gauges below level of the door

trying to show the blue needles but I evidentially can't hold a camera steady

blacked out FMIC... or radiator...hmmm

yea must be a radiator

completely stock engine bay

home sweet home

His Cam Angle Sensor is stock - nothing special or amazing about it.

And do not play it off that you meant to type car as the r and s are not adjacent to each other.

I knew someone would laugh at my CEL. But it's only ONE code (can you believe it?) It's just for the EGR, I'll get that fixed within a month.

I don't like my headlights other, but I love having HIDs. Someday when they develop condensation like the stockers did, or I just have too much time on my hands, I'll crack them open and paint them black or black chrome. I've been looking at laser absorbing paints, so I'll probably go with that he he.

And yes I made the LED tails myself. Inspiration and lots of help came from azdave :thumbsup

I've been playing around with the idea of spraying that 1 bulb or the "lense" with tint spray so that it's not as bright and obnoxious.

The car is looking very BA Erik :thumbsup

Wow..one of the nicest 2G's I have ever seen. I am usually one to admire the motor work more than anything else, but I love the interior! Most of all, nice job keeping it clean.

Where did you get the CF headliner, center console, and doors from?

The CF doors are nice but id be worried using them without a cage. You'd get messed up if a mall cop hit you on a Segway.

They're just inner door panels on Erik's car, not entire doors.

www.topshopcarbon.com for headliner and doors. By far the best fitment and quality I've seen in CF parts.

I got the console from the guy mentioned in Josh's ebay link. Quality isn't nearly as good as topshop and it requires some cutting/drilling/smashing things with your fists

I've contemplated doing the squidskins cf exterior and speedglas... I would like to get the 2g to around 2200lbs. But I would probably paint it all black so she'd remain stock-ish in appearance

873 superflux LEDs matched for same brightness and DOD approved color

handful of IC chips for the controller, knowledge of how to program in BASIC
a lot of wires, fuses, capacitors, resistors
custom PCB boards
and an extra 100+ hours you didn't think you were going to spend on a project, but you already started so you have to keep going...soldering another LED, and another, and another...

I would be willing to pay good money for a set of those tail lights. I may end up making a set of my own though.

Considering I have a VERY good idea of the time it takes to make a set, you don't want to pay for the labor. There are those of us that could make you a set but you could pick up a clean RS and throw some nice go fast bits on it for the same price

No, you don't.

But with a good amount of learning you CAN make your own for relatively inexpensively. I figured out that I can make my set for less than it will cost me to buy a complete brand new set of OEM lights from satan. Check AzDave and ez's threads on HIDplanet.com to learn how they did it.

That shifter is penis. Get something better. Otherwise, sick. I love the headliner, but the grey doesn't match. Go tan, or black.

So there I was taking in the awesomeness of this Eclipse when I noticed something. Your rotors are in backward. Nice car though
104171, RE: Pics of the 99 RS
Posted by ez, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Ha ha, not true. You are only seeing the surface in those pictures. Rotors are directional when the internal vanes are not straight, but spiral. The directionality of a rotor actually is not revealed by the holes or slots you see on the outside. i.e. it's the inside that counts :)

This.

Like ez said, the direction of the outer slots means nothing, but the inner vanes mean everything.
