These things suck. Granted, I honk a LOT, but still, the foam padding around the horns is like broken up, and the switches won't trigger the horn properly. Also, the foam around the wheel is detached from the metal ring. My thoughts are to replace it with a 3g wheel (possible too big, but clearly possible), get an aftermarket wheel (really not looking forward to a four point if that's what happens), or replacement with another 2g wheel. Like I pointed out, I'd rather retain the factory airbag. Any other suggestions? Does anyone else have this problem? God, why couldn't mitsubishi have made the horn pad normal......?

I've never had any issues with mine Maybe you use your horn too much? :shrug

I have had the pathetic horn itself go out from moisture getting into it. When the car goes back together it's getting a set of Hella Supertones to let the assholes in the SUVs know I'm there.
