I plan on it soon I actually have a guy thats in our car club that professionally paints and he's going to paint the whole thing for a good price. He really just wants me to buy the paint and throw him some cash for his time.

that sounds good because the paint dosnt look too good at all. but i like they way your thinkin, different. if you looking to do something like that again make sure you think about it first and have the paint lines line up. and power wash that engine bay.

The worst part about those pics, are you freaking wiper blades. WTF?

LMAO!! Thanks for that post DJ. I needed a good laugh. But you should have added why even pop the doors as well. Hell, why even take the car to a meet period. I would rather ride shotgun to a meet in a punch bugey than to pull up in that thing.

On another note, I had deja-vu when I saw the pics of the car. Seems like not too long ago this guy posted pics of his car and not much has changed. Dude added side skirts but forgot to paint them. Must be color blind. :shrug

Ehhh, just tell your homeboy to jam out EVERYTHING, and get him to paint the moldings too. It takes good prep work to get the moldings looking right. And yeah I know its your car but for the love of god atleast paint the center piece on your tails. Aside from that, some clear corners and fog lights you'll be doin a lil better. As far as the kit goes its really the only one I like.

Where was this car show at, I might stop by next time if its near my area?

Use Vht Nightshade on your tails, would look way better.

Paint bottom of your hood, use black rustoleum few coats and spray it blue match your car. End result you'd have a rust free hood.

I'm a fan of the bomex kits, or having a car looks like someone else's. Each to their own, or I should just say " kids "

Lockheed called, they want their wing back. I'd leave the hood closed at shows. For god's sake man, change to a black interior, or lose the blue. It looks like a clown exploded in/on your car. I'm not trying to bust your balls, but your colors do not compliment each other.

Yeah, exactly, I couldn't quite find the words but fallen fixed that for me

Whenever I see a car that isn't visually appealing to ME, I still give the owner a lot of credit for the work they put into it. I think it's stupid to bash some one for their efforts...

Aside from that, Tux knows we're just playing. This is all in good fun and not malicious, just so you know. The general consensus here is that it's your car. Do with it as YOU see fit, and the only person you need to please is yourself. But don't expect us not to offer criticism and or suggestions if you publicly post pictures of your car, which would be the ONLY reason to do it.

I know I know lol.. I will hopefully be getting the car painted by the end of the year. I have been talking to the guy for some ideas and he said I can get stencils made and he can paint those in. He said he cant do freehand designs very well but stencils would be perfect so I will be throwing some ideas together and post to get some input and if anyone has any ideas for a good stencil to use please post it. I have been thinking about some different bumpers since my rear bumper needs some work and the front one already has some curb damage. Also should I do away with the Z3 fenders and go back to stock or get a new set of Z3's? My fenders are damaged pretty bad. I have been thinking stock because they support the bumper ALOT better.

Lose the Z3 Fenders. Go back to stock bumpers. And no need for stencils, just go with a solid color.

Back off the kid. Those are custom (decah) wiper blades that he and his boy will soon be releasing to the 2gnt community for a reasonable price. props.
