so i was fixing a wiring problem when the battery exploted :/
good news it appears i fixed the problem bad news the acid got all over the place including my valve cover..... my valve cover is chromed but it got messed up do to the acid...if anyone knows of a place where i can get it re-chromed i would really apreciate it....hope someone can help me

I dont know of one off hand, but I know they make powder coat in chrome.
Best bet is to open up the Yellow Pages and find some coating places.
Also call any hot rod/restoration shops, they would definitely know where to get something chromed :)

agree, the best and cheapest ways to redo this would be with powder coating. Nickle-dipped Triple chrome plating might look nice and is quite hard but if its not an exclusive show piece i would go with the cheaper option.
