Red n Blackies used to be a hot dog stand in the L.A. harbor area, Wilmington District. Had hot dogs, fries, pickled eggs and coke.
I have a red 97 RS. I'll be painting it this summer and'll be putting on a new front bumper and a hood. What if I keep the bumper and hood black and only do the spoiler black on the back? Eventually black, spoked 17" rims. Maybe smoked headlights-not tails.

Hmm.
I dont know about that.
I think the contrast would look bad, being blocky and all, but in the end its your car! If you like it, go for it!

Yeah, I thought maybe thr front would look "heavy" leaving the back light. I'll see when I mount the hood n bumper.

I've seen talons with carbon hood and hatch with the black roof and wing, it created a nice two tone. but leaving the hood and bumper black on a red car would just look lazy to me

Thanks for that opinion, Erik. One thing I don't want to do is drive around with that "still working on it" look. It'll probably end up all red again anyway. Just thought I'd play with some ideas while I have the time.
