bumped this old thread in the audio section, but that section seems to get little to no attention it seems. Thought i'd try it out here.

Just curious if anyone knows how this is done. Anyone know which where the wires are located? I'd like a more visual indicator that I engaged and disengaged the alarm.

Looks like they hunted wires to find the signal wire from the alarm, added a relay inline and tapped into the park lamp wires from the switched power off of the relay.

pretty well spelled out in the original thread if you ask me

I'd like to know which wires are the ones that need to be tampered with.

You could wait for someone to respond to your post or you could just test the wires like Ronin said. If your map lights flash when you arm, try to find the wire for that in the drivers a-pillar. Trace it down to the footwell and use that as your signal wire for a relay. Power it, ground it, and run your activated wire to the horn or the parking lamps, both of which can probably be found in the steering column.
