Quick story short, I had to jump start my 95 nt eclipse and I retardly reversed cables. Neg to pos, pos to neg. My heater is not blowing anymore along with my defroster on the rear window isnt turning on. Fuses blow instantly upon replacement. I thought it might be the Blower Motor Resistor but that doesnt seem to be the case now I replaced it. Im alittle stumped. The 10a heater fuse keeps blowing in the drivers compartment. Could it be relays? or did I fry something inside the console?

According to the schematic below, there is a fusible link in the circuit for the Blower. I bet you fried it. You should check to see if you have voltage going to the blower relay on what appears to be a White/Black wire. Also, this diagram was pulled for a 97 GS, not too sure what you have, but its probably all the same. And one more thing, there are no interior fans :)

Looking more at the wiring diagram. There is a 30a and a 10a fuse in the Blower motor relay. The 10a is which one I keep blowing. Now is the fusible link under the hood? I checked the fusible links under the hood and they are good. I need to check the blower motor relay before I move on to the blower motor itself. Is that by the drivers feet?

Okay. The fusible link should be under the hood yes, the schematic shows is being in the 'power distribution center', so should relate to the under hood block. I would check your power/grounds to the relay. Obviously we have a problem here with one of the power or grounds since the fuse is blowing instantly...we just need to source out first which wire it is that we are losing in the circuit and then trace it down.

So I went out this morning to work on the car, I removed the blower motor and grabbed some wires and hooked the fan directly to the battery and bam its working. reinstalled blower motor.

Next I moved to the breakers. I removed the relays, and decided to switch the relays around being the two of the same and one might still be good. Pluged in the relay and my blower motor works. (WTF) Rmoved the relay and reinstalled in original position, then put the old one back.

Now I have heater and rear defrost? Do the relays have some kind of hard reset by taking them out and reinstalling?

well, my heater works and I wont freeze to death now.
