I know alot of people dont like the look but I want one back there. I got a hatch with the motor and I installed it. I am not trying to figure out where the rest of the wiring is. I foung the plug behind the vents, I installed my switch, I installed the wireing harness from the hatch down to under the drivers rear seat. I do not have the wiring to support the wiper in that plug, I need to know where the wires from the switch go so I can make a harness. I figure that is a plug that is not in my car that installs into the fuse panel or something.

I think it might be cheaper to go to the Junkyard and pull a hatch with wipers. Plenty of 2Gs in the yard these days.

why put a hole in a perfectly good leak proof hatch? just get one with the rear wiper....

if your car didn't come with it there's a chance it does not have the wiring installed. this means you will have to run your own wires from the hatch to the dash. this is a major PITA. you will also hafta find your own switch and everything.

Well, I have it. Its in and it works.

Here is what I did. I traced the wires from the dash switch to the fuse block. I noticed that there was no wiring to the rear of the car from that point. I went to the salvage yard and found an eclipse with a rear wiper. I pulled the kick plate and the rocker plate. I accessed the wiring harness. I followed it back to the fuse block and unpluged the harness. This harness has three plugs, one in the fuse block, and two that run up behind the fuse block. I unpluged all three of the plugs and pulled the harness out to back seat where the harness slpits off to the plug to the hatch. I unpluged it ther and cut the harness that runs to the rear area of the car. When I got home, I pulled the 4 wires I needed from this harness. Three are blue wires, they run the motor, and one green one for the washer. I sparated the wires and removed them from the plug, and inserted them in the corrisponding spots in the plug in my car. I wrapped these 4 wires in electrical tape and slid it into the track where the wiring harness runs along the rocker of the car. I did the same at the hatch plug at the rear seat. I had to splice the green back to the washer pump.

It was pretty easy. It took about 2hrs total to do all the wiring and it works great!
