I want to know what you guys describe rice as. I just changed the plate on my auto shifter to chinese symbols instead of the OE lettering, when my friend saw it he called it rice. i really dont think so, but whatever. Do you guys have any real guide lines that you think rice fits in? lets hear it.

Rice is adding a body kit and wing to a 90hp civic.

Rice is spending as much on making the car looking good then you spent on the car itself.

Some rice is fairly tasteful. Most, sadly, is not.

Rice is also the mindset that big wings and carbon fiber hoods will make up for the lack of power.

Stickers are also a Ricey feature. Especialy of things or brands you dont even have, but are popular.

rice isn't all show and no go. Show cars are tight too. Rice is when something is tacky and pointless. Or when u try too hard cuz u are cheap or impatient. Don't settle for a wooden spoiler. Or don't get that $800 paint job over the other one where u get 2 more coats and some pearl. Don't half ass it. Rice is when u do gay or half ass work to your car. That teg that is purple and lime green poka dots is the definition.

does that mean I am a RICER? cause I have japanese lettering in my mid tail light...its a japanese car ya know? why not put japanese letters that say MITSUBISHI..well I think thats what it says, it could say IM GAY for all I know..I dont know japanese!!x(

well all RS/GS are made in illinois.. so i wouldnt really say its a jap car.. ahah i considerer mine a dom/import.. ahah im wierd though.. but i used to have the lil mitsu in jap on the side of the fender but took it off..i didnt really notice it either was small

DRBALAZO7 the "mitsubishi" sticker on the back of your car is in Chinese. the Japanese also can read it because when Japan came over to China and kicked ass in the past, they took the Chinese characters and incorporated in to their language. Much like what the Romans did with the Greeks. Anyways, enough of the bullshit history lesson....your car doesn't look like rice- it looks clean as hell!

DOHC96- tell yer friend that there nothing wrong with reading chinese on your gear shifter. That sounds kinda cool, where did you get it from?
