Just wondering becuz i just bought a 99 Eclipse GS from a used dealer and when i took it for a test drive it didn't have the keyless remote on the keychain so i'm wondering if they lost it or what not or if the previous owner didn't give it to them but if it is keyless entry is it possible to get a new remote from a DSM Dealer ?

It was an option. I have the original sales brochure and the RS and GS were optional.

Yep,
I have that option on my 97 GS.
You could get an aftermarket alarm. Search around the web I'm the prices are cheaper than at an actual store.
