Don't be all too scared about building around the auto. A member here, jack_of_trades is writing down his build around an auto, even though he is gonna be swapping for a 5-speed, articles are here:

You can build around an auto, and there is nothing wrong with that. First thing I would do, and I would do it before you start with the turbo setup, is a transmission cooler. Best thing you can do to preserve the life of the a604. Look up or PM alain95i4 as well. He is a pioneer with putting the 2.4 setup in our cars and uses a PT cruiser turbo auto trans.

i have heard how its good idea to put cooler for auto, but i'm not sure which one should i get. About not being around, i guess its because i know how to use SEARCH button ;) (if you know how to use it, it can be powerful weapon against flame attacks ;)

After you get that muffler installed, please post pics because I'm looking for a similar muffler. I want something stock looking and not to loud.

iv been turboed with auto for over 2 1/2 years with no problems running 6-8psi. im using a hayden 6pass tranny cooler .works fine .

You might not want to swap the tranny after you turbo. I know two guys who were planning to swap after turbo buy they liked how the car performed auto so they left it alone.

Who makes a 420a turbo manifold that will bolt up to a big 16G?

Or were you planning on running the turbo sideways?
